How do I enter my Tail Towns Figurine Secret Code?

Here are the steps to register your Tail Towns Figurine:

Step 1 - Find the Secret Code:

a. Inside the figurine packaging you will find a Secret Code Card.

b. On the card is a section called Your Secret Code. It contains a 16 digit code that is unique to your Tail Towns Figurine.

c. Keep the card handy, you will need to type in the code when you are playing Tail Towns Friends on Facebook.

d. Proceed to the next step.

Step 2 - If you are new to Facebook:

Step 3 - If you have never played Tail Towns Friends before:

i. Once you are in the game, play through the first few tutorials until the blockers no longer appear.

Step 4 - If you have played Tail Towns Friends past the tutorial:

k. At the top of your game window find the Figurine Collection button located on the right side of the game UI.

l. Click the Figurine Collection button to pop-up the Figurine Collection UI.

m. At the bottom of the Figurine Collection UI window is a text box where you can type in your 16 digit Secret Code.

n. Carefully type in your code, the click the Register button.

o. You will see a confirmation pop-up informing you that you have successfully registered your Figurine. Click OK to close this pop-up.

p. You will find a new Goal on the left side of your game screen that will start your unique Figurine storyline. Enjoy!

The game seems to be stuck, what can I do?

If the game becomes unresponsive, the problem can usually be solved by refreshing the webpage.

How do I get Facebook Credits?

To get more Facebook Credits, just click on the "Facebook Credits" tab at the top of the screen.

How do I get Acorns?

Each day you get Acorns as part of your Daily Login Bonus.

Many special items such as Well O Wonder reward you with Acorns.

Click on Windmills at Friend places.

You earn Acorns by filling Orders at Businesses, and by completing Goals.

You can also purchase packages of Acorns directly with Facebook Credits. Click on the + button next to your Acorns total to bring up the Purchase Acorns interface.

How can I get more Energy?

You can get more Energy by completing Goals, visiting a neighbor, leveling up, purchasing energy packs with Facebook Credits, or simply waiting as Energy is replenished over time.

How can I resize my game or turn the music on or off?

There is a Full Screen / Standard screen button in the game options bar, located to the left above the Friends bar. There is also a Music toggle button in the game options.

What is Tail Towns Friends?

Tail Towns Friends is a fun new Facebook game that combines the charm, drama and romance of Tail Towns, the casual gameplay you love, and mixes in your social network of friends and family. In the game, you start as a penniless mouse from the country, striving to succeed on your own terms while helping your new friends in nearby Greenwood City.

Can I play for Free?

Tail Towns Friends is free to play, but you can choose to spend Facebook Credits to purchase premium items or speed up gameplay. Soon you will be able to purchase Figurines to get their unique trophy items and learn more juicy secrets of the townsfolk.

What Can I Do in Tail Towns Friends?

The core gameplay of Tail Towns Friends is based on 3 pillars of Business, Decorating and Stories.

Business: Strategic Gameplay

You can be a savvy Business mouse by growing Seeds to generate different Resources, filling business Orders with your Resources and building more Local Businesses that offer better returns on your time and energy. Business play will reward you with the Acorns you need to purchase items from the Store. Advanced players will want to increase their Storage, upgrade their Local Businesses and Promote their city business partners to get the maximum amount of Acorns.

Decorating: Artistic Gameplay

Be a Mice-langelo of the garden! Your country place can be your own living work of art, where you landscape and decorate to dazzle your friends, or simply to please yourself. Inside the game, The Beautiful Home Club will challenge you constantly with a never ending series of decorating challenges ranging from simple settings to large vignettes inspired by fine art paintings. Visit your friends to see what they are doing with their own country place!

Stories: Guilty Pleasure Gameplay

The town and city folk of Tail Towns Friends are generally a nice, happy sort of people you would like to have as your friends. But, they are only flesh and blood, and there is drama a plenty to be found as you grow to know each personality. Tail Towns abounds with secret desire, stolen kisses, dastardly treachery and just plain quirkiness that will engage you before you know it.

How do I buy items?

Just open the Store. It's located on the bottom right part of your screen. There are lots of different categories in the Store. Each Category contains items that are useful in different ways. Take a look through them to see all the great stuff you can buy! Once you see something you want, drag and drop an item from the Store onto your land, when you place it, you bought it.

Why are some items in the Store locked?

That just means that you haven’t reached the level or completed the Goal required to unlock that item yet. As you complete Goals and gain Experience Levels, you’ll unlock more and more items.

Why are some prices red?

That just means that you don't have enough Acorns or Facebook Credits to purchase that item. You can instantly get more Acorns or Facebook Credits by clicking the + button next to the Acorn or Facebook Credits totals located at the upper right of your game screen.

How do I decorate my country place to be the best?

Everyone has a vision of what THEIR dream retreat would look like. What's yours? Maybe it's a bustling farm, with lots of crops and businesses. Or perhaps you want to be inspired by a painting of an Italian villa, a French lily pond or English Rose Garden? Tail Towns Friends has been designed to give you the maximum freedom to make your country place your own expression of beauty. Pro Tip: Complete Goals to unlock new decorative items and earn lots of Acorns so you can buy the very best!

What kinds of items are counted in the Décor Score?

Decorations, Water, Nature, Path & Fences, and Houses are the categories that are used in your Décor Score. Seeds and Businesses are not counted toward your Décor Score. Pro Tip: Space is limited, so replace lower tier Decorative items with more expensive items to raise your Décor Score.

How do I collect Resources from a Seed?

Each kind of Seed has a visible Harvestable state that invites you to click on it. For example, the apples on the apple tree are green while they are growing, and turn red when they are ready to be picked. You can also look at the tooltip of any Seed to see how much time is left before it is ready for Harvest. Pro Tip: Each Seed has a limited number of Harvests it can provide.

How do I fill a Business Order?

Click on one of your Businesses to open up the Outstanding Order list for that Business. Orders will consume a certain amount of Resources; the Order will become available only if you have enough of the required Resources. Many Orders take time to process. Check the tooltip on the Business to see how much time is left to complete the Order. When the Order is complete, the Business will have an Acorn icon over it. Click the Business to call the Delivery van so you can get paid.

Do I have to click on all those Reward Icons that pop out?

No, you don’t have to click on any of those things. As soon as you click on the Seed or Business to collect from it, any Acorns, experience points or Resources that pop out are automatically added to the right places. If you don’t click on the icons, they will clean themselves up after a second or two.

How do I build a Business or grow a Seed?

Click the item in the Store, and then click on your property to buy it and place it. You'll be able to tell when the item is in an acceptable spot for placement because it'll have a green footprint. A red footprint indicates the item cannot be placed there as it is colliding with another item. After you place a Business or Seed, you can build or grow it by clicking on it. Hover over the item to see how many clicks it'll take. Pro Tip: Remember you will use 1 Energy for each click.

How do I move, rotate or remove an object?

The Edit Bar can be opened by clicking on the Arrow Icon located in the lower right center section of your game UI. Click on it and you'll see a choice of Edit Tools. Choose the Tool you want, and then click on the object you'd like to perform that action on.

Move Tool

This tool will allow you to pick up and move items around your land. You'll be able to tell when the item is in an acceptable spot for placement because it'll have a green footprint. A red footprint indicates the item cannot be placed there as it is colliding with another item.

Rotate Tool

This tool will allow you to rotate items. Continue clicking the same item to rotate it through all possible facings. While many items can face in 4 different directions,

Sell Tool

You can sell almost any item on your land for a portion of its original price. You CAN sell items you purchased with Facebook Credits, but you will only receive Acorns as payment.

End the Edit Mode

To exit a particular Edit Mode, click the Stop button on the Edit Bar.

How do I increase my Resource Inventory

You start with a basic Resource Inventory that allows you to store limited amounts of the different kinds of Resources. Constructing Storage buildings expands the amount of that Resource you can store. Pro Tip: Higher level Storage buildings add more storage space than lower level ones.

How do I visit a Friend?

Hover over your Friend's portrait in the Friend bar, this exposes the Visit button. Click the button to Visit your Friend's country place.

Why can't I collect anything at my Friend's place?

You have probably already visited your Friend today. You get 5 free Visit Energy per day when you visit your Friend. You can use your Friend Energy to collect from your Friend's items. The Visit Energy will be rewarded when you visit your Friend tomorrow.

How can I get more Land?

You can purchase more Lots to expand the land you own. Each Lot will cost 1 Permit and many Acorns. You will receive a Permit each time you attain a new Reputation Level. You can eventually own up to 99 Lots total, including the 9 you get with the Old Orchard. Pro Tip: Many Lots have exotic Lost Treasures on them that are not available in the Store.

How high can my Experience level go?

There are currently 50 levels in the game.

How high can my Reputation level go?

There are currently 91 Reputations levels in the game, allowing you to own a total of 99 Lots.

Why is there a little painting on my screen?

Many of the Beautiful Home Club challenge Goals present a lovely painting as inspiration. While the Goal is active, you will have a small painting icon to one side of your screen. It is very helpful to look at the painting while you are working on the Goal, and to tuck it away when you are working on other things. Click the painting to change its size from mini, medium or large as you choose. Pro Tip: You try to exactly match the painting or let your creativity run free. How you decorate is always up to you!

How do I send a Gift to a neighbor?

To send a gift to a neighbor, just hover over their picture at the bottom of your screen. When you see “send gift” pop up, click on it. You’ll be able to choose which gift to send to your friend!

How can I know if my Friend accepted my Gift or Request?

When a friend accepts your request to be their neighbor, you’ll get a message in your Message Center. You’ll also see their picture appear in your dock.

Glossary

Acorns

Acorns are the game currency you earn by collecting from Businesses and completing Goals. You spend Acorns to purchase items in the Store, or to purchase new Lots.

Businesses

You can build local businesses that allow you to fill Orders placed by the City Businesses you have unlocked. Filling Orders is the best way to earn Acorns. Filling an Order will take time and consume particular Resources. You will have a choice of different Orders at your local businesses that offer different returns based on the combination of Time and Resources. When an Order is ready to be delivered, you can click the business to make the Delivery. This will consume 1 Energy and give you the payout for filling the Order.

Storage Buildings

Storage buildings are special in that they do two things for you. They increase the amount of a Resource that you can store, and they allow you to sell that Resource in bulk to a city business. There are different kinds of Storage Buildings for each kind of Resource. You will have a choice different bulk orders at your Storage businesses that offer different returns on the combinations of Resources and Energy.

Promotions

Promotions are an advanced Business gameplay that allows you to spend Energy on a city business to increase the customers coming in. That increased demand allows the business owner to pay you more money for the Orders you fill! The promotion bonus fades over time, so plan your promotions carefully for maximum profit.

Higher Level Businesses

You can unlock higher level versions of your local businesses by completing the Mastery goals. The higher level businesses will give you even better returns on your Resources, Time and Energy.

Décor Score

The Décor Score is the total value of all the Décor items you have placed on your land. The Categories of Décor items are Decorations, Water, Nature, Path & Fences, and Houses. The Décor Score will go up as you place a new Décor item, and go down when you remove one. The Décor Score is used in several Decorating goals that unlock upper tier Decorative items. And it's a great way to prove to your friends that your Country Place is awesome!

Energy

Energy is a familiar element in most Facebook games. Most actions you perform in Tail Towns Friends consume one or more Energy points, so making good use of your available Energy is a key gameplay strategy. The Energy meter at the top center of the game UI will show you how much Energy you have right now.

Energy Regeneration

You regenerate Energy over time. Hover over the meter to see how long until your next Energy point is regenerated.

Instantly recharge your Energy

Click the + button beside the Energy bar to purchase instant Energy packs with Facebook Credits.

Visit Energy

You are rewarded 5 free points of Visit Energy when you visit a Friend. This Visit Energy can be used only at that Friend's country place to collect from your Friends items. And, you get 5 Visit Energy at EACH Friends place, so your free collection rewards are limited only by the number of Friends you have invited to play with you.

Experience Points

As you play, you’ll gain Experience Points. Experience points add up to let you reach new Experience Levels. With each new level, you’ll unlock items in the Store.

Friends

You’ll be able to invite your friends to become your neighbors. You can visit your neighbors’ towns and help them out by collecting from businesses and harvesting crops. By doing this, you’ll gain Reputation and Experience points, as well as some of the Harvest from those particular items.

Goals

As you play, you’ll see Goals appear on the left side of the screen. Complete these Goals to unlock new items, earn Acorns and Experience Points. You’ll become a master of the game as you play – and you’ll discover lots of secrets about your favorite Tail Towns World characters!

Lots

Lots are the extra land pieces that you can purchase with Permits and Acorns. You can purchase a Lot by clicking on an open piece of grass in the Lot. You can only purchase a Lot that is next to a Lot you already own. Many Lots contain Treasures that cannot be purchased in the Store, so planning which Lots to purchase can be important. See the Permits section for help on how to get the Permits you need to buy more Lots.

Permits

Permits are needed to purchase additional Lots to expand your land. You receive 1 Permit each time you reach a new Reputation level. You can see how many Permits you own by placing your cursor over the Permit icon in the upper center section of the game UI.

Reputation

Reputation points are earned by helping others. The main way to get Reputation is visiting Neighbors and using your 5 Visit Energy on clickable actions.

Resources

Resources are game items like Fruit, Vegetables or Flowers that you Harvest from Seeds. Different kinds of Resources are used to fill the Orders for the different city businesses you are helping. A challenge to players is to grow the Resources they need to fill the Orders from the city businesses.

Getting Resources

You get Resources when you Harvest Seeds at your Country Place or when you visit Neighbors. You will see the Resource Icon zip up to the Resource Inventory, and you can see the amount you have stored increase.

Using Resources

Resources are consumed when you fill Orders at your local Businesses. When you fill an Order, you will see the Resource Icon zip down to the business, and the number you have stored will be reduced.

Resource Inventory

The Resources you have collected are stored in the Resources Inventory, which you can see by placing your cursor over the Resources Icon located at the top (right of center) section of the game UI. Build more Storage units to increase the amount of a Resource you can store.

Seeds

Seeds are items you can place on your land to generate Resources.

Purchase Seeds

Purchase Seeds by clicking on the Seed in the Store, then clicking where you want to place them on your land.

Grow your Seeds

Once they are placed, you can click them to grow them to maturity, when they will automatically start to generate their Harvest. Hold your cursor over the Seed to see how long until it is ready to harvest.

Harvest your Seeds

Each kind of Seed will change its look so you can see that it is ripe for harvesting. Click the Seed to spend 1 Energy to Harvest it.

Tail Towns Figurines (COMING SOON)

Many of the characters you meet in Tail Towns have a Figurine you can purchase. Each Figurine has a unique Storyline. Complete their Storyline to receive their special item that gives you daily rewards.

You can buy a virtual version of each Figurine with Facebook Credits, or use the Store Locator to purchase a lovely hand painted Tail Towns collectible Figurine. Register the Secret Code that comes with each Figurine to unlock that Figurine's benefits.
